Rakesh Bhuckory, Chief of Staff at the Prime Minister's Office, will speak on the set of Info Soirée, this Thursday, July 30, about an alleged WhatsApp exchange with an official of the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC).

Screenshots of an alleged WhatsApp exchange were posted Saturday in a group called “Public Interest.” One of the numbers there appears to be attributed to Rakesh Bhuckory of the PMO.

According to the content of these screenshots, the authenticity of which has not been established at this stage, we can read in particular: “He should have a charge that will help us drag it for several months”, “We can try a Trojan Horse tactic – no arrest next week, only questioning and then call him again in early August now to have an arrest” and “Arrest him after the meeting? To destroy their pathetic argument of funny coincidence”.

Rakesh Bhuckory said he was shocked by these publications, which he described as editing carried out using artificial intelligence (AI).

Tune in this evening at 8 p.m. to follow his speech in Info Soirée where he will answer Deenesh Seeharry's questions surrounding this affair and will also return to the reasons for his complaint.

The show can be watched on TéléPlus and on all Défi Media Group platforms.
