Shakeel Mohamed announced a series of changes aimed at making the Hajj more accessible and smoother. This statement was made this Sunday at SSR airport.
The minister responsible for the Hajj file was present alongside the 330 pilgrims who flew to Saudi Arabia.
He also returned to the cancellation of visas for Mauritians under 15 years of age, a situation which he describes as a real test, ultimately met with success, according to him.
