Health: twelve people in quarantine as part of preventive measures against Ebola

Twelve people are currently in quarantine at the Sir Anerood Jugnauth Recreation Center in Riambel as part of preventive measures put in place against the Ebola virus.

Most of them return from Uganda and are subject to close medical monitoring. Their health condition is stable, according to Acting Director of Health Services Dr. Fazil Khodabocus.

Note that Mauritius maintains strict health controls for travelers from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda and South Sudan.
