The Mauritian hotel group The Lux Collective is continuing its strategy of promoting female leadership with the appointment of Aubrey Wang as general manager of LUX* Chongzuo Guangxi. This decision is part of a broader dynamic aimed at promoting a new generation of female leaders within the group.

This appointment follows on from that of Sheila Malloo as general manager of LUX* Belle Mare, in Mauritius, confirming the group's commitment to strengthening the presence of women in strategic positions.

With significant experience in the international hotel industry, Aubrey Wang brings recognized expertise both operationally and commercially. A graduate of a Swiss hotel institution, she has worked within major brands, particularly in the fields of accommodation and catering.

Arriving at LUX* Chongzuo in 2023 as operations director, she quickly climbed the ranks to reach general management. His management style, focused on people and operational rigor, has contributed to his progress.

“Assuming these functions is both an honor and a responsibility,” she declared, emphasizing her desire to strengthen the quality of service and enrich the cultural experience offered to customers.

Marking its fifth anniversary, LUX* Chongzuo shows strong business performance and high level of customer satisfaction. Recent developments include the renovation of villas, the launch of new dining concepts as well as the expansion of the range of experiences, including excursions to Detian Falls and Mount Gulong.

These initiatives help to position the establishment as a benchmark address for contemporary luxury in China.

Through this appointment, The Lux Collective reaffirms its desire to develop inclusive and forward-looking leadership. The group, which currently operates 18 hotels and resorts across several regions (including Mauritius, the Maldives, Reunion Island, China and Tanzania), is also continuing its expansion with 16 new projects in development in Asia and the Middle East.
