Eight elements of the Youth Militant submitted, yesterday, their resignation from this wing and from all bodies of the MMM.
Correspondence to this effect was sent to the MMM secretariat. The resigners are Shehzaad A Khodaboccus, Brenda Deriviere, Salmaan Gafoor, Rais Nujurally, Shaad Chellapermal, Hishaam Ibrahim, Lionel Lajoie and Rooven Murthoo.
Paul Bérenger, Joanna Bérenger and Chetan Baboolall resumed their parliamentary activities yesterday on the political level. The three former leaders of the MMM convened a meeting of constituency representatives later today.
