A French tourist was injured following a collision between two pleasure boats that occurred yesterday, Sunday April 12, in the Palmar lagoon. Aged 48, he was on board one of the boats involved in the accident.
Suffering from a shoulder injury, he was treated at SAJ hospital in Flacq. However, the tourist left the hospital against medical advice.
As part of this case, the police have already interviewed the two skippers concerned.
