Can you explain to us your role at Stevenhills and what the role of Head of Security & Facility actually covers on a daily basis?

At Stevenhills, I ensure the strategic and operational management of all of our assets across Mauritius, including our branch network and our Head Office in Port-Louis. My role is transversal, because it involves guaranteeing that each site can be an efficient, secure working tool and perfectly aligned with the required standards. Beyond maintenance, I manage the security aspect, the central pillar of our activity. To support our customers, we adopt a strategy of proximity and transparency. My daily objective is therefore to offer a serene environment to our employees and to maintain this framework of absolute trust which defines the Stevenhills experience for our customers.

Your career path has led you to work on demanding projects, particularly in five-star hotels. What did this experience teach you in terms of standards and rigor?

My career in the five-star hotel industry has been a true school of excellence. In this universe, rigor is a culture and zero defects is the minimum operating standard. As a former Project & Maintenance Manager in this sector, I internalized a conviction that the sustainability of an asset and the quality of the customer experience rely on attention to detail and high-precision preventive maintenance.
