Rainfall: up to 82 mm recorded in some areas

The sustained showers that have hit the country since this morning have led to significant accumulations of rain in several regions.

According to the Vacoas meteorological station, 82 millimeters were recorded at Belle-Mare, 80 millimeters at Rose-Belle and 70 millimeters at Rivière des Anguilles. Forecaster Vimal Mungul indicates that, on the central plateau, the accumulations are more moderate, varying between 15 and 25 millimeters, according to the latest readings.

Remember that a heavy rain warning has been in effect since 9:30 a.m. this morning and will remain valid until 7 p.m. this evening.
