Ahmad Sameer Mustun, 54, an attendant aboard the National Coast Guard vessel CGS Barracuda, has died. He took his last breath on Thursday April 30 while on mission in India, in Kolkata, where the ship is currently under repair.

Suffering since the end of April, Ahmad Sameer Mustun required medical interventions at the Medicare Center of GRSE Ltd (Ministry of Defense) and had also obtained sick leave.

Very involved in social activities in his region, in 15 Cantons, Vacoas, he leaves behind the memory of a devoted man.

His mortuary remains are expected in Mauritius this Sunday afternoon. The funeral is planned for this evening. The funeral convoy will leave its residence at 15 Cantons, Vacoas, at 9 p.m., heading to the Phoenix cemetery.
