The anticyclone is gradually moving away towards the south-east of the Mascarenes. However, clouds coming from the eastern sector will influence the local weather at times.
According to the bulletin issued this Tuesday, June 9 by the Vacoas meteorological station, light rain is expected early this morning on the heights. The sky will be partly overcast elsewhere before becoming mostly fair during the day.
Maximum temperatures will vary between 21 and 24 degrees Celsius in higher areas and between 26 and 29 degrees Celsius in coastal regions.
During the night, it will be partly cloudy to sometimes cloudy with light rain mainly on the heights.
Minimum temperatures will oscillate between 14 and 16 degrees Celsius on the central plateau and between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius on the coast.
The wind will blow from the east-northeast at around 25 km/h with gusts of up to 50 km/h in exposed areas. It will weaken during the night.
The sea will be rough beyond the reefs with waves of around 2.5 meters. Outings on the high seas as well as in the southern and eastern lagoons are not recommended.
