Gusts of up to 50 km/h are expected this Friday, while trips to the high seas are not recommended this morning due to heavy seas beyond the reefs, according to the Vacoas meteorological station.
The wind will blow from the east at around 20 km/h, with peaks of up to 50 km/h, indicates the weather station in its bulletin issued this Friday morning.
The seas will remain rough beyond the reefs, with southwest swells of around 2.5 meters, before gradually improving during the day.
Weather-wise, clouds coming from the eastern sector are influencing the weather conditions this morning. The sky will be partly overcast to cloudy, with showers mainly over the east of the island and the central plateau. The afternoon will be mainly fine, before the return of a few showers during the night, especially in the east and on the heights.
The maximum temperature will be around 2°C higher than the seasonal average. It will vary between 23 and 25°C on the central plateau and between 27 and 29°C in the coastal regions. The minimums will be between 16 and 18°C on the heights and between 20 and 22°C on the coast.
