No heavy swell warning is in effect in Mauritius. The latest observations indicate that the energetic swells which influenced the state of the sea in the vicinity of the island are gradually attenuating. However, the high seas will remain strong, with waves reaching around three meters and fifty (3.50 m). Outings on the high seas, as well as in the Western and Southern lagoons, are not recommended.
This is what emerges from the bulletin issued by the weather station this Saturday morning. Clouds coming from the south-east will influence the local weather at times.
Forecast for the next twenty-four (24) hours:
Partly overcast weather, sometimes becoming cloudy in the morning and during the afternoon, with intermittent rain, especially in the East, South and on the central plateau.
The maximum temperature will vary between twenty-two and twenty-five degrees Celsius (22 to 25°C) on the central plateau, and between twenty-seven and twenty-nine degrees Celsius (27 to 29°C) in the coastal regions.
The sky will be generally partly overcast overnight, with light rain over the heights.
The minimum temperature will oscillate between nineteen and twenty-one degrees Celsius (19 to 21°C) on the central plateau, and between twenty-three and twenty-five degrees Celsius (23 to 25°C) on the coast.
The wind will blow from the southeast at around twenty kilometers per hour (20 km/h), with gusts reaching fifty kilometers per hour (50 km/h).
