A subsidy of Rs 75,000 per family will be granted as part of the program for installing solar panels on household roofs (household solar rooftop scheme).
Announcement by the Prime Minister during the presentation of the 2026-2027 Budget on Friday June 19.
This measure aims to encourage renewable energy and reduce dependence on traditional energy sources, while reducing the energy bill for families.
