An envelope of Rs 10 million will also be allocated to new shelters, the training of specialized guides, among other measures, announced the Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam, in Parliament during the presentation of the 2026-2027 Budget, this Friday, June 19.
Another announcement: an envelope of Rs 5 million will be devoted to the creation of an incubator dedicated to women as part of the SME program. Furthermore, women applying for loans will no longer need the authorization of their spouse.
Civil servants will now only be able to benefit from one car duty-free, instead of renewing it every three years.
