The Consumers' Association of Mauritius (Acim) called on the government to temporarily review the formula for calculating fuel prices, during a press conference held this Friday, April 17.

Its secretary general, Jayen Chellum, is also calling for tax relief on gasoline and diesel.

He also raised the existence of a vagueness in the price structure of certain essential products, in particular oil and flour.

According to him, respecting price displays is becoming more crucial than ever.
