On the occasion of Mother’s Day, Le Défi Media Group, in partnership with Tribeca Mall, launched the “Defying Time” initiative. This puts mothers in the spotlight through a day dedicated to well-being and self-esteem. Thirty participants were selected, as part of the 30th anniversary of the Défi Plus.
Shopping, makeup, perfume, manicure… Each participant benefited from a personalized experience. These mothers experienced a special break entirely dedicated to them.
Prisha Bhurtun, 36, came to share this moment on Thursday, May 21, with her mother, Soobawtee Peerthy, 77. She is a cashier, while her mother has never had a professional activity.
“Mo ti pe get zenfan, zordi mo get ti zenfan,” Soobawtee said with a smile. The latter had five children and one of them died.
Prisha and Soobawtee shared a shopping moment at Jetha Tulsidas and Prisha also benefited from a makeup makeover at Inglot Mauritius.

Jacqueline Collin, 69, shared a moment shopping at Jetha Tulsidas with her daughter Christina and granddaughter Emy.
