A fire broke out early Wednesday evening on the roof of the main administrative block of the SSRN hospital.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the fire damaged several electrical cables as well as fiber optic connections installed at the front of the building. Alerted, firefighters quickly intervened and managed to control the flames before they spread further.
No casualties have been reported. Representatives of the establishment's technical services as well as several police units went to the scene as part of the investigation.
The extent of the material damage had not yet been assessed at the time of the report. The exact circumstances of the fire remain to be determined.
