This tripling is part of a three-year development plan, designed so that each child hospitalized at the SSRN can benefit from these moments of lightness – an approach recognized and documented by numerous studies in pediatrics to support the recovery of young patients.

Behind the red nose

Mediclown clowns combine artistic practice, child psychology and hospital ethics. They intervene in direct coordination with the healthcare teams – during examinations, treatment, waiting times – to divert attention, ease anxiety, facilitate cooperation and support families. Sharon Juhl, aka “Yool the clown”, pilots the program within Mediclown. She puts the words precisely: “The hospital clown is not limited to entertainment: it is a real lever of therapeutic support serving the well-being of hospitalized children. By alleviating care-related anxiety, facilitating cooperation during medical procedures and providing emotional support to families, it concretely transforms the hospital experience. Novaterra's renewed support allows us to go even further in our mission, and we are deeply grateful. »

Renewal of their commitmentFor Novaterra, this renewal is not a symbolic gesture. It’s a posture. “The illness does not only affect the body, it also weighs on the morale of young patients and their families. In these moments, laughter becomes a real support,” explains Emeric Vigier de Latour, Senior Manager – Communication & Marketing of the company. “We also have a human responsibility. Supporting Mediclown means taking concrete action to bring comfort, lightness and hope to those who need it most. This partnership is one of the initiatives that are most important to us. »
