Bel-Ombre: four masked men attack a receptionist and take Rs 47,000

Four masked men attacked a receptionist and took Rs 47,000 from a hotel in Bel-Ombre on Monday evening.

The attack occurred between 11:20 p.m. and 11:40 p.m. The receptionist, aged 26, was at his desk when the individuals burst into the establishment.

One of them allegedly hit him in the head and left forearm with a baseball bat. The attackers then allegedly tied his hands before seizing the money contained in the reception cash register.

They fled after the attack. The victim, who suffered from dizziness, reported the facts to the police.

An investigation was opened to identify and find the perpetrators of the attack.
