A Curepipe private college is shaken by a scandal of rare violence. A 14-year-old boy claims to have been forced to perform an indecent act. The scene, filmed by his comrades, spread on social networks, causing a shock wave.
On Wednesday June 10, the student enrolled in Grade 8, accompanied by his grandfather, filed a complaint at the Curepipe police station. In his statement, he states that the facts occurred the day before, in a classroom, during recess. The matter was reported to the Family Protection Squad (BPF), who immediately alerted the Family Support Bureau (FSS) in Phoenix, in accordance with established procedures.
The victim benefited from complete support, in compliance with the protocol in force. At the same time, a meeting between the college management and the BPF led to the establishment of an awareness program intended to prevent such incidents and strengthen student protection.
The teenager declares having been the victim of an indecent act committed by a friend. He says he feels pain and wants to be examined by a police doctor. According to him, his comrade forced him to kneel and sing the national anthem, before forcing him to undergo an act of an indecent nature. The scene, filmed, is circulating on social networks.
The Diocesan Catholic Education Service (SEDEC), through its communications officer, Clive Anseline, claims to take the situation very seriously. “Unfortunately, we learned of a serious case of bullying within this establishment. At SEDEC, we take this case very seriously. We referred him to the competent authorities and, within the college, we provide special support to the victim, in collaboration with the parents. »

When contacted, the college management did not wish to comment on the matter. However, according to our findings, the alleged attacker was fired for inappropriate behavior.
