The autopsy carried out on Jean Valery Norvic Salesse and Manisha Budhoo by forensic pathologists Sudesh Kumar Gungadin and Maxwell Monvoisin concluded that the two deaths were due to “carbon monoxide poisoning”.

However, the circumstances surrounding the deaths of Jean Valery Norvic Salesse, 31, and Manisha Budhoo, 24, continue to raise many questions. The two young people were found lifeless on the morning of Friday May 29 in Caprice Lane, St-Pierre. They worked within the company Trident, based in Ébène. Norvic Salesse held the position of HR manager, while Manisha Budhoo was assigned to the legal department.

According to information gathered, the body of Norvic Salesse was discovered in the garage of a house under construction belonging to him. A relative transported him to the C-Care clinic, where he was pronounced dead.

The body of Manisha Budhoo was found inside a car parked on the property. SAMU emergency services, dispatched to the scene, could only note his death.

At this stage, the exact circumstances of the tragedy remain unknown. The St-Pierre police have opened an investigation to shed light on this matter.
