“A man of great intelligence and profoundly human”, this is how Osman Mahomed remembers Abu Kasenally. The Minister of Transport wanted to pay tribute to the former minister, who died this Monday, April 27.
Osman Mahomed claims to have had the opportunity to collaborate twice with the former minister during his career. The first time in 2008, when he held the position of officer in charge of the Housing Unit, then in 2010, when he served as Managing Director of the NHDC.
Recall that the former minister, Dr Abu Kasenally, died this morning following a long illness. He was 84 years old. His funeral will take place this afternoon at 3 p.m. His remains will leave his residence in Clairfonds, Vacoas, to go to the Riche-Terre cemetery.
