A discovery was made during an operation carried out by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) in an apartment in Flic-en-Flac rented by Narvada Bukhory Vadachallum, 47 years old. According to information collected, investigators discovered several plastic bags filled with money and buried at the scene.
Initial estimates suggest that each bag could contain more than a million rupees.
The funds were seized by the FCC, which is now seeking to establish their provenance and determine whether they have any connection to possible criminal activity.
The amounts discovered are currently being analyzed and verified. At this stage, no official information has been communicated on the total amount seized.
The investigation continues to shed light on this matter.
