A 66-year-old bus conductor died yesterday morning, Sunday May 3, in the intensive care unit of the SSRN hospital. This resident of Vallée-Pitôt did not survive an accidental fall from a bus that occurred five days earlier.
âThe accident occurred on Tuesday April 28, around 4:30 p.m. While the vehicle was traveling near the Jinfei roundabout, the victim fell on the asphalt.
“Seriously injured, the sixty-year-old was rushed to hospital before passing away 5 days later. The autopsy attributed the death to craniocerebral injuries. The bus driver, a foreign national, was subjected to a breathalyzer test which came back negative.
