The Anti Drug and Smuggling Unit (Adsu) plans to establish a Management Information System (MIS) in order to modernize and strengthen the management of operations linked to the fight against drug trafficking and smuggling. This secure digital platform will allow authorized officers to record, store and analyze data relating to drug investigations and operations across the country. The system will integrate several functionalities, including case management investigation, monitoring of investigations, recording of evidence and laboratory analysis results, as well as the production of dashboards and personalized statistical reports. Through a centralized database, the MIS will facilitate tracking of drug seizures, arrests, intelligence collected, suspect profiles as well as geographic trends.
