The birth of Emboss: how it all began?Emboss Ltd was established in 2003. Since its inception, the company has followed a continuous process of expansion to become, in over 23 years of operations, one of the leaders in the local and regional market.

What was your first big challenge? The evolution towards an export-oriented company after our installation in the industrial zone of La Tour Koenig was a major step. This has allowed us to increase our production capacity and better serve our international customers.

The trigger for success? A highlight in our history was winning first prize in the Process Innovation Award in 2017, organized by the Ministry of Enterprise and Cooperatives, against 72 competitors.

Your business model?The group was founded by Rooben Rajendra Kistnen, whose strategic vision helped build the solid foundations on which Emboss is based today.

Your beginnings in a word? Expansion. Since 2003, we have never stopped growing, going from a local workshop to a regional presence in Reunion, Madagascar and the Seychelles.

What is your sector of activity? We are experts in digital and offset printing, as well as signs and advertising displays.

Your strength against the competition? Our ability to do everything in-house. This guarantees creativity, respect for deadlines and control of budgets. We use the latest technologies to boost the visibility of our clients.

Your core target? We serve a wide range of clients: government institutions, large international companies and SMEs. We were also winners of the Winner Medium Enterprise 2017 prize.

Your new activities? Our most recent investment is the creation of a Security Printing department: printing of checks, deposit slips and tamper-evident labels.

How is your sector evolving? The future will involve innovative and ecological solutions. Our building is designed to reduce environmental impact through rainwater recovery and better energy efficiency.

Your turnover? As a regional leader, our growth is constant, driven by our activities in Mauritius and our exports to Reunion and Mayotte.
