The Central Electricity Board (CEB) plans the construction of a crossing bridge over the river at Rivière Profonde, Saint-Pierre, to allow the passage of steel pipes intended for the installation of 66 kV and 22 kV electrical cables. The project also includes the installation of reinforced concrete transition pits as well as cable trenches, in accordance with the technical reference plans. This project is divided into two phases: the first concerns the design of the civil infrastructure necessary for the passage of the cables, while the second concerns the construction of the crossing bridge to support the steel pipes, as well as all associated infrastructure.
