A resident of Petit-Raffray was found dead at her home on Friday evening. Soobhowtee Jugessur, 63, a factory worker living at Mahatma Gandhi Road, was discovered unresponsive in her room.
According to initial findings, the room was in disarray. Called to the scene, a SAMU team noted the death of the sixty-year-old.
The circumstances surrounding this death remain to be determined. An autopsy must be carried out today to establish the exact cause of death. Goodlands Police have opened an investigation and are pursuing all leads at this stage.
