“Faced with the Ebola epidemic which is affecting certain countries, we are applying a very strict protocol, particularly at the port and airport. Screening operations are carried out. If a case were to be detected in Mauritius, it would represent a real challenge for us,” said Anil Bachoo.
The Minister of Health responded to questions from our journalist on the measures put in place to prevent the introduction of the virus into Mauritius.
He spoke this Thursday, June 11 at Plaisance airport, at the end of a blood collection campaign organized as part of World Blood Donor Day.
