“The rapid increases in the prices of petroleum products will have huge impacts on the different products. The fact that there is no mark-up on certain products means there may be abuse. We reiterate our request for a structure where the government, the private sector and consumer associations, in particular, can sit around a table to see all this more closely.
“As it appears that the conflicts are not going to end anytime soon, the effects will be felt for quite a while. The cost of living will continue to be impacted, especially for those at the bottom of the scale. This may be untenable for some. We need to think together. I am making an urgent appeal to the government. We cannot ignore the voice of consumers at this point. »
