During an anti-drug brigade operation carried out this Saturday, April 18 in Pointe-aux-Sables, officers discovered a container converted into an artisanal greenhouse intended for growing cannabis.
A search was carried out at the home of Yousef Abdallah Asgarally, aged 38. During this intervention, the police seized 41 cannabis plants measuring between 20 cm and 1.50 m, for a total weight of 21 kg, more than 1 kg of cannabis in the form of leaves, 14 cannabis seeds, as well as three timers, three extension cords, LED lamps and a water pump.
The suspect was arrested and taken into custody. The investigation continues.
