Suspicions of murder in La Brasserie, Curepipe, this Saturday, after the discovery of the body of Jean Richard Bryan Alifoykooye aged 35 at his home.

His companion, Laura Beatrice Travady, suspected of being the author of the murder, was arrested by the DCIU in Rodrigues, under the supervision of Inspector Félicité, after leaving Mauritius this Saturday morning.

Very affected, Steven, brother of the victim, confided that when he arrived, he found him in a pool of blood. “The last time I saw him was last Sunday. It was my sister who told me that it had been three days since she had seen him. When she went to his house, she was the one who made the discovery. »

Steven indicates that the partner of the deceased, with whom he lived, is suspected of being the author of the murder. He explains that his brother and his partner lived peacefully and that they sometimes argued, but that he never thought it would end like this.

Allan, friend and neighbor of the deceased, said he had known him since childhood. He emphasizes that he was a very good football player at La Brasserie and that he helped the local team win many tournaments by scoring a lot of goals.

“It is difficult to accept such news today. We didn't believe it when we learned of his death. »

The police investigation is continuing to shed light on the exact circumstances of this tragedy.
