A four-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pool at his parents' home in Telfair, Moka, on Saturday. His mother told police she saw him unconscious in the water.
She took the necessary steps to transport the child to a clinic in Moka where a doctor pronounced him dead. The autopsy attributed the cause of death to asphyxiation by drowning.
A team from the police Information and Technology Unit yesterday was unable to view footage from surveillance cameras on this property at this time because there is a password on the device.
