A resident (79 years old) of Bonne-Terre, Vacoas, declared to the police that a burglary had been committed at his home. He says he runs a shop on the ground floor and lives on the first floor. According to him, a sum of Rs 800,000 disappeared from his room. The offense was allegedly committed between April 22 and 29. He noticed no trace of break-in.

The complainant claims that the sum of Rs 500,000 represents his pension and savings, while Rs 300,000 was intended to purchase items for his business.
