The alleged trafficking of 100 kg of cannabis between Mauritius and Reunion Island will be at the heart of the Private Notice Question (PNQ) in the National Assembly this Tuesday, August 4.
The leader of the opposition, Joe Lesjongard, will question the Prime Minister, Navin Ramgoolam, on this matter during the parliamentary session this morning.
The PNQ will focus in particular on this investigation, in which Gulshan Govind, the husband of former Junior Minister Véronique Leu-Govind, is among those arrested. The head of government will be called upon to provide details on the progress of the investigations as well as the measures taken by the authorities.
You will be able to follow the PNQ live on our Facebook page, on Radio Plus and on TéléPlus, from 11:20 a.m.
