Malina Cheeneebash, 33, arrested in front of Parliament on Sunday while observing a sit-in against pension reform, was admitted to hospital in the morning of Monday.
As a reminder, she was taken to the Pope Hennessy police station before being fined for “obstructing footpath”. According to the police, a tent set up near Parliament created a “potential obstruction on the public highway”.
According to available information, Malina Cheeneebash's mother then alerted police after her daughter was allegedly violent at her boyfriend's home in Phoenix. The police intervened and subdued her before she was treated by the SAMU and transported to hospital.
Malina Cheeneebash had been participating in a sit-in in front of Parliament for several days to protest against pension reform.
